Language

Language is a strong medium to communicate with each other. Without knowing language we cannot understand each other feelings and culture. In this world there are different kinds of people living in the same society. They have their own language to communicate. Language unites people with each other for example, i'm from Nepal, in my country we have our own language to communicate but these days i m in United States. Here, nobody can understand my language except people from my own country. I have friends from different countries they have also their own language and i can't understand their language and they can't understand mine language too. But we can understand one language that is an international language "English", by the help of English language we can communicate with each other, we can share our feelings and culture's. Sharing everything with each others help us to get together. I don't have any friends from my country here but i don't feel alone here. I have so many close friends from different countries with whom i can share everything and also have a good time with them. Somehow languages also divides people for example, our grandparents and some of our parents also don't know how to speak English. They just know their own language. If my friends and my grandparents, and parents meet with each other they can't communicate with each other. They don't understand what they are talking about. They just keep quite and keep looking at each other face. They don't get chance to know each other, they can't express their feelings with each other. Even they don't know what kind of people they are and what kind of culture they have. They seems like both of them come from different planets. So, language has both side, either it can unities or divides people with each other.

My Immigration Experience

When i came in United States everything was new for me. People, place, and society from here is totally different from my country. The weather of United States is also different from my country. We don't have snowfall in the place where i lived in my country. I came here in december 2010. At that time everywhere there was a huge amount of snow. When i saw snow first time i was so excited. But after a month i saw some bad effect of snow in human life. For eg, stuck car in the snow and difficult to walk by our own feet. The language of United States is also different from my country. At that time i can understand English language but i was not so friendly with English language. Even i don't understand the language clearly. It was really hard for me to understand what they are talking about. Without knowing each other language its impossible for everyone to understand each other. But people from here is so friendly and helpful, they helped me out to understand about their language, culture, and society. Here I get lots of chance to learned so many new things.  When i came here first, i was very unknown about this country and its people but now i have been living here for a year. So, these days this country,society,culture,and the people from here seems very friendly to me.
